Mogi is a ripp off

I should of known this was a bogus offer. How do you pay for extended warranty and they said it would not be effective for 30 days. We had to pay monthly and get stuck with the repair bills they not only did it to us 1 time but 2 times and the repairs was a couple thousand dollars each time. I will never recommend them to any body not even a blind broke down seeing eye dog. bunch of *** offs i will be calling the bbb on they butt. Never ever get anything mogi warranty has to offer

Watch out for Mogi!

Mogi misrepresents its coverage over the phone. Says towing is completely covered (it's not); car rental completely covered (it's not). And on and on. Once you get the paperwork, it's too late. They won't let you cancel. There is also a $100 deductible they don't mention on the phone. My MC is still working on the problem, since transaction was done over the phone. Big rip off! Stay away from this company. They also change their name and web site every other day. No response to correspondence. Please stay away from them. Very bad news.

I am trying to get a refund, and I just found out that Mogi is no longer in business.

read this:Good Afternoon Tonya,

After executive management has reviewed this situation with your cancellation refund it was determined that Mogi is responsible for issuing your refund.

We processed the cancellation and refunded the lien holder for your contract (Warranty Finance). Since Mogi is the company that received funding for this contract they would be the ones to issue the refund.

Since you have already been in contact with Jeremy and Nick at Mogi they should be able to assist you.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Best Regards,

Rebecca Webster

Could you tell me how to contact MOGI? I call 888-596-**** It is always busy.

Guest

The transmission went out in our Durango. Mogi would not cover it because the internal part (again located in the transmission) was not a lubricated part.

The transducer causes the transmission to fail. BTW if you do not have every receipt for every oil change they will also deny all claims.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY!!!!

Over a year and a half ago I purchase (all in one shot $2200) warranty policy from them called the UPP. Was supposed to be the best they have so without hesitation I bought it to protect my car. It would cover me completely for 100000 miles on top of the 60000 that I already had. Well, after 14000 additional miles problem surface and took the car to the shop to get it fix and had them called Mogi (800-579-****) And they denied the claim!!!! It was clearly stated as a "COVERED" part and they gave me and the Master Tech a HUGE RUN AROUND with ending result of NO COVERAGE!!! After contacting them and asking for help and explaining my situation in detail, I also got a MAJOR ATTITUDE FROM THE STAFF MEMBER "Sandy" which she wouldn't let me talk or explain further my situation and would try to dismiss my call with irrelevant small talk!! BOTTOM LINE they did not pay NOR ASSIST IN THE CLAIM, and when I mention to refund the "unused" 86000 miles in my policy they pretty much laugh at me and told me "we will mail you the cancelation letter" with a funny remark at the end!

PLEASE, PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS!!! We all work hard for our money and buy policies like this to protect our investments but SERIOUSLY this people SHOULD NOT CONTINUE TO STAY IN BUSINESS!!!

If you are unfortunately still dealing with them I want to wish you luck (better than mine) and pray for your peaceful resolution.

God Bless.

Javier Perez. :sigh :sigh

Mogi will never pay your claim

If you have mogi, your likely never to get your claim paid. They always find a way to not pay your claim, I had a claim for a water pump which is clearly covered under the contract, and they denied the claim because the pump seized. They said the pump claim should have contained the word "broken". How many ways can the word broken be described in the dictionary? At any rate, they will not pay your claim. The parent company is located in Missouri, under the banner of Direct Dealers Warranty LLC. It is held in principle by a Mr. Vincent L. Johnson. This person has many companies with LLC's filed in the state of Missouri, because of the ease at which you can incorporate a scam. They use a second party processor for you pay direct to them located in Illinois. They use a third party claims administrator located in California. Put all three of these parties together spells "scam". Run away as fast as possible from these clowns. If you have only been with them a month or less, cancel and find someone else. They are the worse. They will deny your claim for excess miles. Isn't that the reason you buy this policy? I've tried to get a hold of them. They have covered their tracks well, except to take your money.

Get Mogi has gotten me!!!!!

There has been two instances that I have needed this type of insurance, however, Get Mogi finds a way not to pay - for instance, my coverage was supposed to cover the motor and transmission cover to cover. The first time the exhaust manifold cracked and it was denied. The mechanic said it was part of the motor and should be covered - but Mogi saw it differently. The second time I had to have the clutch assembly replaced and again even though a transmission should be covered - Mogi decided that was not covered either - what exactly did I pay $3000 for?

Totally misrepresented coverage at point of sale

I called Mogi after seeing their TV ad to purchase their coverage..You know, the ad that shows the customer just flashes his card and all is takeb care of...not a worry in the world! Ha! The saleslady on the phone talked me into buying the Gold coverage because she said my car had a lot of electrical items that could go bad and if I purchased this coverage "I wouldn't have to worry" Ha, again!! I've had my car into the shop twice; once with a bad window motor; once with a bad door harness and now it needs a new transfer case seal (part of the drive-train).. So far they have declined coverage on everything...when I threatened to cancel, the lady almost seemed happy to tell me how. My dealer has shown me in writing that the extended coverage plan that they offer at a much cheaper price would have covered each item listed. If you're planning to buy a coverage plan, I would sure look elsewhere.

MOGI OUT OF BUSINESS

I spoke to Enterprise Financial Group (EFG) today who confirmed Mogi is going out of business. Policies are still in force and claims can be made to EFG - 1-80*-527-****. They are the administrator of the policies. Don't know anything about their claims service or payment service. If you want to cancel your policy, contact them. Mogi won't do a thing. I will reserve judgment until I have a claim but if the other comments are anything to go by, I don't have much hope. Apparently, alomost all used car repair insurance is a scam. Wonder if there's a reputable company out there.

DON'T BUY MOGI-- RIPOFF

I purchased Mogi, 9/29/09. Today is 8/25/09. I was supposed to have a $50 deductible for what ever needed repairs with my Platinum protection. My check engine light came on. I took the car to the dealer ship only to find out Mogi denied all the vehicle repairs. My cars brake system and wheel assembly is faulty. There are some sensors not working. The repair costs are 2800 plus tax. I had to pay 85 dollars to get my car back. I am just going to trade the car in. Don't trust Mogi. I filed with the better business bureau. I want all my money back.

MOGI is an absolute rip-off......

I purchased an extended warranty plan back in November of 2009. In early March of 2010 I had a claim that was covered in my plan, and was denied. I couldn't understand why and kept calling them to find out what was going on. After getting the run around for awhile, they informed me that I could mail in all my cards and contracts to them for a pro-rated refung since I decided to cancel them. Two months later still no refung check, I called to inquire and at that time they stated that I was not eligable for a refund.. $800 of my money down the drain, plus $600 for the repairs they were supposed to have covered..Thanks MOGI

Denied me cancellation-took my money

I decided in less than 24 hours that Mogi was not the company to deal with after finding out how they extort money from their unsuspecting customers and I called and instead of the CSR taking care of my cancellation, he kept telling me about something else. I became frustrated after I could not get a word in other than, "I want to cancel, and hung up." I want to help get the word out about this company and their unscrupulous practices. Also, I am hoping to find all the help I can to get my money back from these scam artists.

They did what they said.

I read these complaints before I bought and then made up my own mind. I'm not one of those idiots who let other people think for them. I'm sure some people have complaints because their wants are unreasonable. I called to get my car covered and it had too many miles on it. i could post that and be a total tool but that's exactly all I would prove, i'm a total tool. I called back and set up my wife for coverage. She had a breakdwon and then the repair was covered. This sight is for customers NOT wanna be's. The comment I just read was about a guy who isn't even a customer so how can he be a pissed customer. He is a total ***. He read something negative and that is his reality. He obviously leads a very sad life. I'm sure this company is not perfect but if you use your brain you'll see two things. EVERY, YES EVERY company has someone that wants to complain about them. What are their motivations? I don't know. Maybe they are an ex-employee that got fired for lying to a customer or stealing or semething, who knows. This company has no BBB unresolved complaints but they have had complaints. Obviously what ever made those customers mad got fixed. That's using your brain, ***

MOGI is a straight bs company if they did fix anything it wa sumthin minor like a headlight exchange they bs you around for some serious auto work. Its a Ponzi scheme.

Guest

Socket set (SAE & Metric)- under $20

Repair Manual (Chilton's or Haynes)- under $20

Any part on ANY vehicle available at your neighborhood parts store- generally under $200 and in almost all instances under $100 at the most.

Fix it yourself and quit crying and acting the fool on "blogs for boneheads" websites, all while enjoying the satisfaction of money saved AND peace of mind knowing that the job was done right..... priceless. Good Day

Guest

why are you so upset, ok you didn't get scam but others did (lucky u and ur wife), find a new job Mogi is going under, you are right he works for Mogi, got a raise for that bull#$%*, comments. :eek :p

Guest

How long have you worked for Mogi

Guest

WOW, you are really all about pointing the finger aren't you. And as usual with mental midgets like you, you couldn't be further from the truth.

But as usual (again) with your type, you obviously are illiterate, I'm not traling about the mispelling of representative but I am talking about rhetoric, not even close. You are probably toothless too which explains your vocation. Hmmmmmmm says it all.

I have $2. I'll take one.

Guest

You sound exactly like, and use the same exact words and flow that the representitive from Mogi that I spoke with did. He tried to give me the same rederick too, but I didn't sign with you, opps, I mean him. Hmmmmmmm......makes me wonder.
